Apologies

So very tiring being so cuddly.
Just a very quick note to say sorry for not having updated properly recently. We don't seem to have stopped since the holiday.

Bubbles!

My little teddy bear!

Love my Daddy.

We had a visit from Alfies Nana from Wales a couple of days after we came home from Cornwall and then some decorating, then visits to and from various people. The birth a two more young ladies, Sophie and Fleur and now preparations for Alfies do and his first trip abroad, admitedly a day trip to France as we feel that is all we could manage with the trachy at the moment. Stuart and I celebrated our 10th wedding aniversary and nearly 20 years together. We went out for a grown up lunch thanks to Mum and Kate which was wonderful.

Alfie has also been downsized to a 2.5 tube to help progress the decanulation in the next couple of months. He had what has turned out to be his last proper ENT appointment and they were very happy with him. As usual amazed by his size and healthy colour!

Training him early.

He is sitting up on his own albeit very briefly, devouring lumpy solids, holding things with his thumb and forefinger and passing them between both hands. He has also started sitting in his highchair to eat and looks so grown up! He almost launches himself off your lap when he wants something (normally our food or drink!). He learnt to roll at 10 weeks but as soon as the trachy was put in stopped, now he does a wonderful half roll and turn. He managed to do a full 360 on the sheepskin today.

Who is that handsome lad?

Future rock star?

We go out for a walk and a coffee pretty much everyday and he is the most sociable happy little chap you would ever wish to meet. Alfie is a pleasure to go out with, great company and so well behaved. He goes with us for meals out on a regular basis and sits happily playing with a toy or book or sleeps peacefully in his buggy or laughs with you at any silliness you display. He is learning anticipation with Round and Round the garden. The giggles start as you get to 'one step two....' and then he holds his breath for the tickle, so cute it hurts!

Beautiful frosty morning for our walk.

Don't say it.

Myrtle is growing into the most beautiful if completely insane cat. Looking forward to and dreading the tree going up!

Telly addict.

My gorgeous babies.

I promise I will update properly very soon.

All too much.
